For those of you that don't know, I have an amazing BFF! Yep that's him in the picture above. He's pretty hilarious and funny (looking). And best of all he puts up with me. :) Anyway, my BFF had never been up to Palmyra or Niagara Falls and so we convinced me to go with him. How could I refuse a road trip with my BFF? Even if I didn't want to go, I couldn't turn down this opportunity.
The fun all began when my roommate got home from work and the three of us hopped in the car and began the trek up north. I don't remember much of the car ride. I think I was grumpy from a lack of sleep. I do remember drifting off to sleep, while listening to them talk in the front of the car.
Saturday morning we woke up, chowed down on some delicious, complimentary, hotel breakfast, and headed to the Palmyra Temple.

After completing a session at the temple, we visited the replicated Smith family log home and then the actual frame house they built later . We also wandered through the Sacred Grove, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.

Hungry, we found CHILL and GRILL, and order food and a ice cream. Don't worry we only order half the kiddie size and it was still ALOT of ice cream to eat.

Next up was the Hill Cumorah!

Followed by Niagara Falls, which was pretty magnificant.

Please note that my roommate is a GIANT and TALLER THAN EVERYONE ELSE!

Check out the cool sandals we payed $11 for so we could go on the Cave of the Winds.

The cave of the wind was an adventure, as you were walking on a path that is set up to take you right under the falls.
Random Facts we Learned from the Tour

The view was amazing. The falls were fun to play in and you definitely can't stay dry. As you can tell we are all wet. I don't know why I thought wearing white shirt was a good idea either.

On our way back to the hotel, we stopped in Buffalo, NY - Home of the Buffulo Wings.

The wings were delicious! I was excited to take a picture with a man wearing a buffalo wing on his head.

After church on Sunday, we started the long drive home. We decided to stop in Harmony, PA and visit the home site of Joseph and Emma Smith. This location is more famous because it is along the Susquehanna River where the priesthood was restored to the earth.

Another fun place we stopped on our way home was Scranton, PA. We were looking for Jim but since the office really isn't filmed in Scranton, we had to settle for Coopers Seafood House. This restaurant is in several of the episodes such as Branch Closing and Business Ethics. The restaurant had a fun atmosphere with lots of cool decorations.

Around midnight we arrived home. Leaving me with 4 hours to unpack, pack again for my cruise and trip to Zion (more to come later), and sleep (which I didn't get much of). No sleep but totally worth it!

Random Facts we Learned from the Tour
- Every year they have to take it down so the path changes from year to year.
- 15 people a month attempt to jump the falls.
