...but I kinda wanted to forget that I was. Fortunately, I have great friends, who wouldn't let me forget that it was my birthday and that I should celebrate.
So CELEBRATE, we did! On my birthday, my friends got a group together to go watch an outdoor movie at a park in Rosslyn. Every Friday they show an 80s movie and this week we got lucky enough that it was Labyrinth. The weirdest movie from the 80s. Sorry, I don't have any pictures of that.
Afterwards, we headed back to our house, where the AC wasn't working. As we were hot, sweaty, and thinking of something fun to do, someone got the great idea to do the gallon challenge. So we headed to the grocery store, where we bought several gallons of milk. I'm sure you know what happened when we attempted to drink a gallon of milk. I won't go into the details. I did make it through a gallon of milk (of course not without throwing up). Once again, I have no pictures, but you are probably grateful for that.
The next day, my friends planned an amazing birthday party/BBQ. There was great food and lots of people that I love! I do have some pictures to show from this party
I got some of the best gifts ever. Some of the gifts included:
- My HLPs high school jacket
- Cocamotion, which they had to lie and steal from me
- Baby Pool with 20 goldfish (all of which died before I saw them)
- Syphilis ( a giant stuffed microbe)
- Thomas the Tank Engine Birthday Card
I couldn't ask for a better way to spend my birthday than with the people I love most. Thanks everyone for making it a great day/weekend! I look forward to the great things that await me this coming year!
